A buddy of mine has this amp on 2 Kicker CVR 12's and they slam. The subs could hold a little more power but it pushes them perfectly. For the price on this website you can't beat it.

do no listen to that last person's review... he is either a rich kid who doesnt care about wasting money, or he doesnt know anything. they arent fake watts and the brand isnt terrible... its all the manufacturers choice to put the price on a product. the jl 1000.1 amp and this are pretty much the same except jl is 400$ more and u are paying for pretty much the same product. just like how you can buy some products at C****** C*** for 200$ when you can find the same exact thing for half the price... that last person doesnt know anything and should not talk again.

power acoustik is a terrible brand. throw them away along with sony, and the rest of the cheap brands with false specs.

how could a JL 1000watt amp be$600, and this 1600watt only be $170?????

Good Amp

This is a very good amp. The power is clean and is consistent. The sound quality is very good. I had it on 2 kicker comp 15's and it hit hard. I also had it on 2 kicker CVR 12's and they hit very hard. Very good performer in 4 ohms and 2 ohms. It has never got hot just a little warm.

Great Driving amp

I agree dont listen to the guy on the bottom. i also agree jl audio is overpriced. The Power acoustik a1000db is a amplifier i chose to power my brahma 15". Not just because i was low on cash, but because ive owned a power acoustic a3000db to power my re xxx 15" and that nearly blew up my ear drums yet still giving me a bassgasm with its great sound quality. The a1000db will give me 650rms which is plenty to have great listening or to impress your friends with pure power.

I'm pushing 3 Kicker Comp c124 12's and I must say this amp is awesome.
It puts out enough power that I can be heard from a block away. It never overheats or cuts off.

I have this amp along with 2 12 inch infinities and this amp is worth the money it get the subs going if you wont a great amp for cheap this is the way to go.
