The Kenwood KFC-1798RS is the largest coaxial model in the RS series, offering a 6.75" (oversized 6.5") diameter that maximizes cone surface area for deeper bass and higher output. Designed for a "Factory Location Fit," these speakers feature an ultra-low profile 1-3/16” balanced dome tweeter that clears even the tightest factory grilles in late-model doors and rear decks.
Sharing the premium DNA of the RS series, the 1798RS utilizes the Diamond Array Pattern woofer to keep the cone rigid under heavy stress and the Acoustic Sound Harmonizer to ensure smooth, natural vocals. With a robust 100 Watts RMS power rating, these speakers are built to handle the higher current from aftermarket amplifiers, making them a serious contender for a full-system overhaul.
